MAIN LINE AREA -

The Philadelphia Main Line is a collection of diverse and affluent communities built along the Old Main Line Pennsylvania Railroad, which in the 19th century became home to country estates built by Philadelphia’s wealthiest families. Today the Main Line is also known as the western suburbs of Philadelphia and extends from the western city limits at Bala Cynwyd to Paoli. The towns that encompass the Main Line offer a number of real estate opportunities depending on your style and financial resources. The Schuylkill Expressway (I-76), I-476, the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike, I-95, Amtrak, Septa’s Regional Rail Lines all provide easy to/from access to Center City Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, Delaware and points beyond.
